As we navigate through life, we often encounter setbacks and challenges that may seem insurmountable. These obstacles may cause us to feel discouraged, defeated, and sometimes even hopeless. However, I want to remind you today that setbacks are often setups for comebacks!
In the Bible, we see many examples of people who faced setbacks and challenges but emerged stronger, wiser, and more resilient. One of my favorite verses that speaks to this truth is found in Proverbs 24:16, which says, "For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes."
This verse reminds us that it's not about how many times we fall, but about how many times we get back up. Each setback we face presents an opportunity for us to grow, learn, and become better than we were before. And just like a springboard, the deeper the setback, the higher we can bounce back.
So, family, I want to encourage you today to keep pressing on, even in the face of adversity. Remember that setbacks are not permanent, and they do not define us. Instead, they can be stepping stones toward a brighter future. When we trust in God and have faith in His plans for our lives, we can rest assured that our setbacks are being used for our ultimate good.
